Description[]
Sand Magic is a form of Magic revolving around the use of sand, which is placed under the user's command for them to employ for various purposes. The user manipulates sand and shapes it into a variety of forms for different purposes, with the most prominent so far being for combat, with sand-made bullets being the most common attacks. Due to the sheer amount used in its casting, the sand itself is very powerful.

Scorpio's Spells[]
- Sand Buster: The user gets down on their four limbs, in a stance which is reminiscent of a real scorpion's, and then points their scorpion-like stinger at the opponents. A large amount of sand is subsequently fired from it in the form of a powerful sand tornado, which moves towards the target in a line and strikes them with great blunt power; so much, in fact, that even nearby enemies which aren't directly struck by the attack will be thrown to the ground by the tornado's sheer rotatory power. Aside from its most obvious, offensive use, Sand Buster was shown being used in another way, with Lucy having Scorpio combine it with Wendy Marvell's Sky Dragon's Roar, forming a Unison Raid in order to boost Natsu Dragneel's speed, allowing him to strike Hades.
- Sand Spear: The user fires a beam of sand towards the target from either their hands, or their scorpion-like stinger.
- Sand Wall: The user manipulates sand to create a large sand wall in front of themselves, protecting themselves. This wall is strong enough to block Natsu Dragneel's Fire Dragon's Iron Fist, as well as Kamika's Paper Blizzard: Yellow Dance.
- Sandstorm Axe Aldebaran: Sandstorm Axe Aldebaran is a unique Sand Magic Spell that can be used with the Celestial Spirits Scorpio and Taurus. While Sand Buster is being used by Scorpio, Taurus uses his labrys to wrap the move around it. Once the sand has wrapped around the labrys, Taurus smashes it down on the target, attacking with the power of the labrys as well as with several tornadoes of sand. The spell's name is derived from Aldebaran (Alpha Tauri), a giant red star and the brightest star of the Taurus constellation.
